Join us for an invigorating evening of inspirational music, soundscapes and spoken word pieces from some truly extraordinary artists of the future.

Shining a light on talented artists who are often marginalised, as part of a collaboration funded by Arts Council England, this special showcase gives a platform to four incredible Emerging Artists who have been supported by highly experienced musicians from the Irene Taylor Trust and Drake Music to develop their artistic voices and share their unique stories.

Our Emerging Artists L U C I N E, Luke McCarthy, Macelino and Reese Quinlan have been selected from alumni of our Sounding Out programme for former prisoner musicians and Making Tracks initiative for young musicians facing barriers. Over a two-year period, the Emerging Artists are receiving individual mentoring, engaging in opportunities to work collaboratively and share learning, and being supported to record, release and perform their own original material.

Alongside our Emerging Artists, the evening will also feature special performances from Drake Music artists Miss Jacqui and Kris Halpin.

BSL interpretation will be provided for the performance in the venue, and will also be available picture-in-picture for the live stream.

Live captioning will be available as part of the live stream, and also available separately in the venue.

A quiet space with low lighting will be available at the venue. There will be no talking or typing allowed in this space but you are welcome to use headphones to watch the Live Stream. Food and drink may be consumed quietly in this space.

We want this event to be accessible and inclusive, including to Disabled people who have concerns about Covid infection due to existing health conditions. We respectfully ask that:

if possible, anyone attending the event in person test for Covid before attending the event
anyone who tests positive or is symptomatic access the live stream instead of attending in person
