Working towards live performances is an important part of what we do through our work both in prisons and the community; having supporters in the audience means a lot to our participants and produces a real sense of occasion as they share the original music they’ve created with the guidance of our team.
We’d love to see you this Spring! Currently confirmed dates are:
Music in Prisons project performance at HMP Hollesley Bay (IP12 3JW) – Friday 29th March, 2pm
Live music created by men in prison. You will need undertake the prison’s security checks in order to attend, so an RSVP is essential – please contact Jake on projects@irenetaylortrust.com before 21st March to arrange this
Sounding Out Sharing Event at Guildhall School (EC2V 7HH) – Thursday 4th April, 2pm
Members of our Sounding Out ex-prisoner programme will be collaborating with Guildhall School PACE BA students to create something special in April – join us on 4th to find out what!

Making Tracks live performance at Hammersmith Town Hall (W6 9JU) – Thursday 11th April, 3pm
Young people from our Making Tracks programme will present original music created with our team over an intensive project – join us to celebrate their achievements.

We’re delighted that the wonderful Mr Kites Benefits have once again selected Music in Prisons to receive the profits from a gig – this time by legendary American singer-songwriter Tom Russell.
The performance is at The Met, Bury, on Saturday 6th April – tickets are £20, available here.
