Making Tracks has been supporting NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) young people in Lambeth to write original music, learn to play instruments, and perform live together as a band since 2012.

As well as resulting in great music, the projects help the young people to develop self-confidence, important life skills such as communication, team-working, and problem solving, and earn an Arts Award accreditation. As part of the programme they work closely with our Personal Development Manager, who helps them move on to suitable progression routes.

Join us at Pop Brixton to celebrate the achievements of the young people, as participants past and present perform the songs they wrote on the projects and talk about how getting involved with the projects helped them.
