Sara joins Safe Ground’s Great Minds symposium panel in February

Our Artistic Director Sara Lee will be part of the panel for Safe Ground’s annual symposium – Great Minds (Think. Differently. ) – taking place Friday 20th February at The Temporary Theatre on London’s Southbank.

The event includes a specially commissioned theatrical piece as well as an innovative panel discussion chaired by Safe Ground’s Chief Executive Charlotte Weinberg and psychoanalyst Professor Renos Papadopoulos (Director of the Centre for Trauma, Asylum and Refugees (CTAR),University of Essex).

Safe Ground have this to say about the symposium: “Your participation and input will result in a challenging and exciting dialogue where there are no adversaries, but honest conversations where we all will be creating social policy recommendations that better address issues close to all our hearts. We all know that traditionally The Temporary Theatre has always been a place for great thought. Come make ours a place of great action.”

Panellists confirmed in additional to our own Sara Lee include Vicky Pryce (author of Prisonomics), Jonathan Robinson (author of IN IT), Simon Wills, Chief Executive of The Young Foundation, Rebecca Roberts, Policy Officer, Centre for Criminal Justice Studies, Dr. Deborah Drake, Senior Lecturer in Criminology, The Open University and Frances Cook, Director of The Howard League.
