As part of an exciting new project in partnership with Helix Arts, we are seeking to recruit a vocalist to work with women with severe personality disorders accessing the PIPE project and Primrose Treatment Unit at HMP Low Newton. The vocalist will develop the confidence, motivation and skills of the women taking part to prepare them for a longer-term music programme empowering women offenders to create a Songbook. You must be able to share skills with others and be flexible and responsive to the interests and experiences of participants. We are looking for a vocalist who wants to play a positive role in these women’s future, who will empower people to find their voice by creating safe spaces to explore ideas.
