Hermione Jones joins the team

We’re very pleased to announce the arrival of Hermione Jones at the Irene Taylor Trust office. Hermione takes on the position of Projects Manager, overseeing all of our projects both inside prison and out in the community. A restructure of roles sees Luke Bowyer become Operations Manager, allowing the new Projects Manager position much more time to devote to developing progression routes for participants.

We first met Hermione when she joined the first Sounding Out ex-prisoner project in June 2012 as a support musician from the Royal Academy of Music Open Academy. You can read Hermione’s impression of supporting the project here.

Hermione’s first week will mostly be spent at St Anselm’s masterminding the third cohort of Making Tracks. Local young people are working with the ITT project team and two of our ‘Sounding Out’ programme ex-prisoner musicians to write an original set of music. You’re welcome to join us at the performance; Thursday, 8th August, at 7pm – St Anselm’s, 286 Kennington Road, London SE11 5DU.
